About Mrs. Robertson

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Robertson. Born and raised in San Diego, CA, I am a mommy, wife, teacher and love me some coffee, essential oils, and DISNEY. I have a passion not just for education; but the need to teach, mentor, stimulate and inspire your children, fostering them with a love of learning. I am so excited to announce that I was awarded The Institute for Effective Education Professional of the year 2016. It was such an amazing surprise and just reminded me once again how much I LOVE my job and working with my awesome students every day!

I have been a teacher with The Institute for Effective Education, Mt. Helix Academy since Spring 2010 and I am am SO EXCITED to be returning to 4th grade this year. I love teaching California History. The gold rush is so much fun to teach and I love the field trips. Star of India and San Juan Capistrano HERE WE COME! I can’t wait to share them with you all.

In September 2007, I married my wonderful and supportive husband, Tim. Since then we have had 2 amazing kiddos. In May 2009, I completed the highly acclaimed Teaching Credential Program with a specialization in Mathematics and recently began my masters program all through SDSU. Go Aztecs!

Sports: Baseball and Football (Teams: Chargers, Padres and Aztecs)
Restaurants/Food: Benihanas, Brigantine, SUSHI
Hobbies/Things I do for fun: Reading, going to movies, outdoor fun with family (going to the Zoo, biking, the beach, etc.)
